Poem #27

 Opposite Poem

I love to go on a hike,

I dislike when I fall off my bike.

I have great family and friends,

I want a cake that never ends.

My friends say I am kind of crazy,

My family says I can be lazy.

One day I will drive a car,

I will never be a movie star.

My favorite foods are pizza and cake,

I will never eat a snake.

I feel sad when I am left alone,

I feel happy when there is an ice cream cone.

I feel safe when I know the cost,

I feel scared when I am lost.

Poem #26

I am Poem

I am a daughter, a sister

I wonder why school is so important

I hear SCREEECHHHHHH

I see my bed

I want to go home

I am a daughter, a sister

I pretend to not hear people calling me

I feel excited for summer

I touch grass

I worry about my grades

I cry never

I am a daughter, a sister

I understand

I say I wonder what the future brings

I dream of doing big things

I try to never accuse that simplicity will hold value

I am a daughter, a sister

Poem #25

 Look in the Mirror

A funny, kind person looking back at me

I'm really good at Science

And love to be online

I spend lots of time sleeping

And can't wait for family time

I could improve my writing

And math is hard for me, but I know if I try, I'll be the best I can be
